I verify that data survived a migration. Source system export and target system export come in. Everything is recomputed independently from both files: record counts, primary key integrity, field-level value comparison, completeness, truncation, character encoding, numeric coercion, date format drift and column mapping errors. The verification is built separately from the migration process, so it tests the load rather than repeating its assumptions. Output is a controlled document with severity-rated findings and a machine-readable discrepancy log. No regulatory determinations are made and no patient-identifiable data is required. Work is performed on counts, metadata and field values, under the client's quality system.
